Il Vangelo di Giovanni come guida mistica

DESCRIZIONE

Circa 100 anni dopo la sua morte in croce, al culmine della potenza romana, comincia a circolare un testo che afferma di riportare le ultime parole di Gesù: un lungo discorso modellato sui discorsi classici dell’addio a cui si aggiungono la storia della Passione, modificata in alcuni punti chiave, e alcuni nuovi episodi di apparizioni di Gesù post-mortem.

Si tratta del cosiddetto “libro della gloria” in cui consiste la seconda metà del Vangelo di Giovanni.

In esso vengono ridefinite le grandi parole-chiave (amore, fiducia, pace, gioia, verità, unione), viene messa in discussione la separazione tra creatura e Creatore, e l’esperienza mistica si trova faccia a faccia con la religione istituzionale e la politica imperiale.

In questo corso esamineremo il testo di Giovanni 13-21 cercando di vedere in che misura esso è ancora vivo per noi in un contesto storico che appare molto mutato ma, allo stesso tempo, è rimasto quasi immutato. Il lavoro di scavo interpretativo ed esistenziale sarà accompagnato da piccole esperienze meditative guidate.

Il seminario si svolgerà presso il Monastero del Bene Comune a Sezano, in provincia di Verona (in foto), e sarà condotto dall’équipe italiana della spiritualità del creato.

Lo svuotamento di parole, immagini e rumori, lo svuotamento che ci viene incontro a causa delle perdite… tutto questo scava uno spazio dentro di noi che rende la nostra ricettività più grande, più sicura e più sorprendente di quanto possiamo immaginare. (Matthew Fox, In principio era la gioia)

Seminario esperienziale 

In questi anni tutti abbiamo subito varie perdite: di persone care, della salute, del lavoro, della fiducia nelle istituzioni, di sicurezza economica, ecc.

In qualcuna/o di noi potrebbero essere rimaste rabbia, frustrazione, rassegnazione, senso di impotenza, dolore… Forse non abbiamo avuto tempo e modo di incontrare profondamente questi stati d’animo.


In questo seminario, attraverso le quattro Viae della Spiritualità del Creato, ci daremo l’occasione di sostare nelle perdite e fidarci delle nostre immagini interiori come vie di trasformazione, apertura e guarigione.


L’arte come meditazione, la pratica del silenzio, la scrittura biografica, il linguaggio poetico, l’ascolto del corpo ci accompagneranno in questo viaggio.
